Grimsby Institute

Also know as Grimsby College. At entry level we can offer courses in computing, joinery, cooking, creative craft and floristry. Learners can progress on to entry level courses in motor vehicle, horticulture, hairdressing and animal care.

We offer these courses at our main site at Nuns Corner in Grimsby but we also have a centre at Louth, where students can do Horticulture, Cooking, Horse Care and IT.

If you require help with basic skills, then we can offer literacy and numeracy and IT help, up to level 2, from our Study Skills Drop In at main-site and our centres around the area. The Learning Shop is situated in Grimsby Town Centre and there is a centre at Skegness.

We have a 16+ Youth Club for students with learning difficulties/disabilities. It runs Thursday night between 7.30 and 9.30 pm. There are a range of things that the club members enjoy, which include visits to the bowling alley, fish and chip nights, craft evenings, visits to Cue World, general socialising, art and quizzes.
